Objective: Create a promotional campaign for the upcoming DC Swamp Thing film remake, by introducing the Swamp Thing takeover throughout various cities in North America.
Prior to any release of the upcoming DC Swamp Thing film remake, this campaign is meant to create buzz about the upcoming movie and stick to promotional material that can be placed throughout various cities in North America. This campaign in particular showcases the campaign in Toronto, but the intention is for this to spread out throughout all of North America. Through various mediums and experiential, the campaign is one to show Swamp Thing is on his way by leaving his mark all throughout the city.
For the Art Direction of this, it was very designed based as we really don’t have any promotional material from the brand to work with other than their logo. With that, I decided to make everything look like it's been through the swamp and back. I did this by using various overlays. We wanted most of these to be framed as warning signs so the copywriting came in with that and helped shape the ads to promote the arrival of Swamp Thing.
